DETAILS: About Crab Surimi : Threadfin bream is a white fish most commonly used for human-grade crab Surimi found in our “California Sushi Rolls”, seafood salads and more. It has a natural crab flavor, texture, aroma and appearance to crab but is more readily available, easier and more consistent to work with and is more stable. Sugar is used in trace amounts of 1/100th of a % as a chemical reactor to reduce the acid and does not affect the sugar levels in the body. Sorbitol is used in trace amounts of 1/100th of 1% as a chemical reactor to cause Crab Surimi to become fuller bodied in texture. This is a sugar alcohol, which the body will not convert to sugar. Soy Protein Isolate is the most usable source of vegetable protein and is used as the thickener in Crab Surimi.
