We utilize warehouses that are located around the country which allow us to buy product in quantity, and then PASS THE SAVINGS WE GET ONTO YOU!! Orders may periodically ship from our other locations and/or directly to you from the manufacturer. Orders can be picked up from our Chatsworth, CA warehouse.

WE CARE ABOUT THE ENVIRONMENT - WE DO NOT PURCHASE PREPRINTED, CUSTOM, CORPORATIZED, LOGO-TIZED BOXES TO SHIP OUT YOUR ORDERS IN, AND WE ACTUALLY GET NAUSEOUS WHEN WE SEE OTHER COMPANIES POLLUTING UP THE PLANET WITH THOSE BOXES- WE RECYCLE OUR BOXES!!!!!, AND ANYTHING ELSE WE CAN GET OUR HANDS ON IN ORDER TO PACK UP AND CUSHION YOUR ORDERS FOR THE UPS RIDE. WE CARE ABOUT THE ENVIRONMENT AND TRY TO DO OUR SMALL PART AND REUSE AS MANY BOXES AS WE CAN TO SHIP TO YOU. PLEASE IGNORE THE OUTER PACKAGING ON YOUR ORDER, THE CONTENTS CAN BE QUITE DIFFERENT THAN WHAT THE OUTER BOX SAYS!

SHIPPING CHARGES and INFO

Local customers in Los Angeles may choose to pick up their orders at our store in Northridge - PLEASE call our local number at 818-505-9315 for product availability BEFORE you arrive, so you do not take the ride only to find your items are not in stock.

If you have trouble with ordering on the site for any reason, you may call us 877-429-6738. We can process the order by phone. If the representative isn't able to help at that moment, we will call you back during customer service office hours from 10:00am-6:00pm pst M-F (excluding holidays).

You are charged the amount we are charged by our various carriers, such UPS, FEDEX, and in limited cases, the USPS. From our location in LOS ANGELES to Locations on the East Coast and East of the Mississippi is a 5-7 business day journey via UPS/FEDEX GROUND. Packages shipped to Locations in the Mountain and Central Zone states cost much less per pound than the eastern part of the country and usually take between 3-4 days via UPS/FEDEX GROUND service.... GROUND service shipments to locations in California are far cheaper per pound than anywhere else of course, and usually take about 2-3 days for delivery. Some items, though they are light, may be assessed a heavier weight since the dimensional size (LxHxW) of the box overrides that actual weight. UPS/FEDEX expects certain sizes to weigh certain amounts and they charge accordingly. If utilizing a PO Box or military address, some items may exceed the dimensional limit and cannot be shipped. We will notify you if that occurs. Please allow a processing time of up to 2-4 business days time as not all items can ship out within 1 day. We try our best.

Your shipping charges are calculated automatically when you check out, the last page you will see will have your total shipping charge calculated before you submit your order. This is done AFTER you furnish your complete shipping address with zip code, our system then determines the shipping cost from the combined weight of your order and distance between your Zip code and ours (91311) by quickly sending this information to the UPS WEB site to be calculated by them and returned to us and this amount is added to your total. You can also determine the shipping charges on the first page where you add items to your cart. Scroll to the shipping calculator and enter your zip code and state and click the apply button.

UPS and FEDEX are our primary shippers. Our shipping calculator calculates all locations we directly ship. International shipments (other than Canada) must use the white international checkout button. If shipping charges read $0.00 when no free shipping is specified, it will be added after the internet sale is calculated and totaled manually by Animal World Network (AWN), and then finalized for shipping ONLY with customer approval through email or by Phone.

MILITARY Personnel with APO / FPO Addresses USPS POSTAL SERVICE ahipping IS available and will be calculated for you at checkout. Please understand that shipping to Military addresses is only done once a week on Saturdays when we can bring your packages to the USPS. They do not pick up for us, we must go to them, unfortunately, therefore shipping out can take a little longer at times.

We do not have free shipping unless it's specifically indicated on the product's page. Since our products are priced very competitively we are unable to offer free shipping without losing money. Other companies may have such services, but be aware that nothing is free - their prices typically are higher and they usually require some minimum so they make enough profit to offset shipping charges. In almost all cases, no company has free shipping on heavy weight or oversized items such as dog/cat food, aquarium rocks, cat litter, sea salt, and other super dense items.

AWN processes orders as quickly as humanly possible and we try to ship your order out usually within 2-4 business days...AWN attempts to alert our customers of any problems with an order prior to shipping.

We are not responsible for misprints or typos. We reserve the right to make, print or publish "typos" from time to time and to correct them before or after any sale, transaction or page view.
